A family committed to ministering to the Body of Christ describes the Schuts'. Pastors Al and Holly are graduates of Western Theology Seminary in Holland Michigan and have been pastoring together since 1986. Al has been serving Bethel Church as our Pastor since July of 2002.

Holly has launched a ministry called Midlife Momentum. The goal of this ministry is to help people discover their God-given purpose, particularly in midlife and beyond. In discovering this purpose we begin to fully experience the abundant life Jesus calls us to experience. 

Pastors Al and Holly have 2 married children. Daughter Acacia and her husband Ephraim and their children Diedrich and Annika are working and ministering in Athens, Ohio. Son Cory, his wife Elisa and daughter Lilah are studying and ministering in Sydney, Australia. Son Caleb is attending Hope College in Michigan with plans of also going into the ministry.

We believe that being followers of Jesus is a lifetime process. God is at work in every age and stage of our faith journey. We invite you to join us in the journey.
